Júlio and Cézar — where engineering, music, and a passion for lutherie come together

Toca was born from the meeting of two stories, two experiences, and one shared passion: music.

Júlio Tocalino, an electronics engineer and guitarist, always found in lutherie both a hobby and a way to transform ideas into instruments. His experience with design, materials, and technology inspired a desire to go beyond traditional models and seek new solutions for the guitar.

Cézar José, his partner on this journey, shares a passion for music and instrument making. Together, we transformed an idea that began as a project into a genuine proposition of innovation and a distinctive identity.

Toca was born from this partnership: a Brazilian brand that brings together engineering, design, materials, technology, and the tradition of lutherie to create instruments with personality.

More than making guitars, our purpose is to question conventions, explore new possibilities, and develop instruments conceived for the contemporary musician.

Every Toca carries something of us: the curiosity of those who love to create, the precision of those who design, and the passion of those who understand the instrument not merely as an object, but as part of the music.

Júlio and Cézar.

Two friends, one idea, and a passion that became Toca.

A new way of building guitars.
